Looking for a prospective driving instructor is a very important decision and can be a daunting experience. I want my pupils to be happy, feel confident and learn to drive in a professional and safe manner. Driving is a Skill for Life and even if you are extremely nervous this skill can be yours!

"I started driving lessons with Harriet at the end of April 2010. I was very nervous as it had been over 10 years since I last had a lesson but I really needed to get driving after having my first child in February. Harriet was highly recommended to me by a good friend so I rang her up and within a week had my first lesson. I started off extremely nervous but very quickly built up a raport with Harriet and began to enjoy my lessons and actually looked forward to them! Harriet was always flexible with my limited free time and fitted in lessons to suit me. She built my confidence up very quickly and when I doubted myself she was always encouraged me. I felt able to take things at my own pace and although Harriet guided me firmly when I doubted myself, it did not feel like pressure. I found manoeuvres particularly difficult and so Harriet broke them down in the simplest way which meant I was able to take them step by step and therefore mastered them a lot sooner than I ever imagined. Harriet booked my practical test when she felt I was ready and in the run up to it, helped me prepare in every way possible. When it came to the day I felt confident and ready not only to take my test, but also then to start driving independently (with my Son in the car)!
